Inventory
This document explains the "Inventory" feature under the "Drugs" management module of the HelloClinic system, helping you effectively manage the clinic's drug inventory.
System Overview
The "Inventory" main page is the central hub for managing all drug information. Here, you can view a complete list of existing drugs, track inventory quantities and costs, and perform basic operations such as adding, modifying, and deleting.
Main Interface Features

The interface is mainly divided into two parts: the top "Function Button Area" and the lower "Inventory List".
1. Function Buttons and Filters
Above the list, a series of quick functions are provided for convenient inventory management:
- Search: Enter drug keywords (such as name, manufacturer) in this input box to quickly filter specific drugs from the list.
- Status Filter (Active): The dropdown allows you to filter drugs based on their status (e.g., active, inactive).
- Under Reorder Level: Clicking this button filters all drugs whose current inventory is below your set "Reorder Level," helping you timely procure.
- Expiry Drugs: This button shows the number of drugs nearing expiration. Clicking it displays a detailed list for prioritizing these drugs.
- Create Drug: Click this button to add a new drug record to your inventory system.
2. Inventory List
The inventory list displays detailed information of all drugs in a tabular format.

| Drug Name | Name | The official or generic name of the drug. |
| Manufacturer | Pharma Company | The name of the pharmaceutical company manufacturing or supplying the drug. |
| Strength | Strength | The dosage specification of the drug, e.g., 10mg, 200MG. |
| Quantity | Quantity | The actual quantity of the drug currently held by the clinic. |
| Reorder Level | Reorder Level | The minimum safe inventory level you set for this drug. When the quantity falls below this value, replenishment is recommended. |
| Cost Per Unit | Cost Per Unit | The procurement cost per unit of the drug. |
| Cost Total | Cost Total | The system automatically calculates the total cost of the drug (Quantity x Cost Per Unit). |
| Note | Note | You can record any additional information about this drug here, such as storage conditions or special uses. |
| Actions | Actions | Provides quick actions for each drug: 🔍 View: View detailed information of the drug. ✏️ Edit: Modify existing data of the drug. 🗑️ Delete: Delete or deactivate the drug from the system. |
3. Pagination and Display Settings
- Pagination: When the number of drugs is large, the list will automatically paginate. You can use the page number buttons at the bottom to switch pages.
- Items per page: You can select the number of data entries displayed per page (e.g., 30, 50, 100) via the dropdown at the bottom right to suit your browsing preference.
Main Operation Procedures
How to Add a New Drug?
- Click the [+ Create Drug] button at the top right.
- In the popup window, fill in the detailed information of the drug (name, manufacturer, strength, reorder level, cost, etc.).
- After saving, the new drug will appear in the inventory list.
How to Find a Specific Drug?
- Quick Search: Enter the drug name or partial keywords in the "Search" field above, and the list will instantly filter matching items.
- Conditional Filtering: Use the "Under Reorder Level" button or the "Status" dropdown to narrow the search scope.
How to Manage Existing Drugs?
- Find the drug you want to manage in the list.
- In the "Actions" column on the far right of the drug:
- Click the 🔍 icon to view more detailed information.
- Click the ✏️ icon to modify its information.
- Click the 🗑️ icon to delete it.
